5 ish Pot Luck

Pot luck is an opportunity to gather and meet your friends from past festivals and new friends, too! Bring a dish to share with ingredients listed. Hot dogs, buns, and fixings will be provided.
We are pleased to welcome our friends at Three Branch River Grove, ADF in leading our Opening Ritual!

This ritual, in the ADF druid core order style, creates space for making offerings to the Kindreds (Ancestors, Land Spirits, and Shining Ones/Gods) and the earth, celebrating  the earth bringing us all together to open this festival.

You are invited to bring a little earth from home to be used in this ritual.

Drumming and Dancing – Led by Community

Bring out your drums and your dancing feet and feel the rhythm of the season.

11 Quiet Time

Wind down into firelight conversation.

saturday

8 Coffee at Tree Frog

Roll out of your slumber into a hot cup of joe, tea, or just come for conversation. Please bring your own mug or we have disposable cups available with a variety of fixins like sugar, creamer, etc…
Now that you are awake, meet some Green Bandannas and fellow event goers. Silly ice breaker games to get us all warmed up to spend relaxing intimate time together.
Come cultivate your energy with Shibashi! Walk through of the 18 form that helps raise your vibration and calm your mind. This form can be done standing or sitting. – Wear comfortable clothes that allow movement.
Our everyday lives can be hectic in our go-go-go society. Let’s take time to sit in peace and quiet with nothing to do but BE. We will meet beneath the trees in the Sacred Grove taking time to sit in the quiet of nature to relax and reconnect with nature and ourselves.
It is all about making and understanding connections to the unseen energy of the universe. Our guides, our personal deities, our deeper self, and yes the tree as well.

11 Mead – Led by Dustin (and friends?)

Learn about the process of making mead, meet fellow brewers, sample some crafts that brewers have brought, and learn how they made it! Workshop is for those 21+ only and sample cups will be provided. – Chairs and water is recommended.

12 Lunch Break

Take a break and refuel.
Songs and chants are a way of connecting in community. Join us under the trees in the Sacred Grove to learn & share songs & chants.
Candle Magic – adding enhancements to boost the energy needed to accomplish the goal of a spell using color, oils, and herbs plus other accoutrements. – Bring a chair, pen/ pencil, and paper.
We all know what it is to become drained by other people, even those we love. This workshop explains what this is and what to do about it.
“Weaving the Threads”

Gather together as we explore  thematic “threads” of Beltane—blessing the land, our community and our intentions for a bright and abundant future. We will weave these threads together by dressing our sacred fire with spring flowers, marching* in a short but jubilant Beltane parade, dancing* the Maypoles and creating a special takeaway gift.

This ritual includes activities appropriate for all mobility levels–movement is not required to participate.

You are invited to contribute flowers to our ritual for dressing our sacred fire.

5 Dinner

Feast!
If you talk of Beltane, at some point, you need to talk about desire. Rumi said “Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love…” So often we learn to suppress our envy, but there are power and gifts within that longing, so long as we honor our boundaries and the boundaries of others. As we gather to light the fire, we’ll take some time to feel within for that (perhaps forgotten) voice, and welcome the wisdom it brings…

sunday

8 Coffee at Tree Frog

Roll out of your slumber into a hot cup of joe, tea, or just come for conversation. Please bring your own mug or we have disposable cups available with a variety of fixins like sugar, creamer, etc…
As our festival comes to a close, we gather  to reflect upon our time together, express gratitude and ritually extinguish our Sacred Fire.

9:30 Community Meeting – Led by Green Bandannas

A chance to give feedback and to let us know if you are interested in volunteering for planning roles. Also, an opportunity to volunteer for break down activities.
